FUNAAB NELFUND Loan Disbursement Update: No More Letters Required
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Students' Union Government (SUG) has released an important update regarding the NELFUND loan disbursement process for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Key Changes
The 2024/2025 disbursement cycle has eliminated a previous requirement. Students will no longer be required to write letters to access their funds. Instead, approved loans will transfer directly to student accounts, streamlining the entire process.
Who Is Affected
All FUNAAB students with approved NELFUND loans for this academic year will benefit from this simplified process.
Important: Bank Account Correction Session
Students with inactive or incorrect bank account information must attend a mandatory correction session:
- Date: Friday, November 14, 2025
- Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: S.U.B Congress Hall
Note: There will be no other opportunity to correct account details. Students who miss this session may not receive their funds on time.
