FUTIA Releases 2025/2026 Admission List and Registration Guidelines

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session on the JAMB portal. Candidates who applied to the institution can now check their admission status and proceed with registration.

How to Check Your FUTIA Admission Status

To verify if you have been offered admission:

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in with your registered credentials
3. Navigate to "Check Admission Status"
4. Access the CAPS portal to view your admission decision

Acceptance Fee Payment

Candidates who have been offered admission must proceed to the university portal at portal.futia.edu.ng to pay the acceptance fee and begin their registration process.

Screening and Registration Schedule

Physical screening and registration will take place from October 6-20, 2025 at the University Lecture Theatre, Takeoff Campus. Activities begin daily at 9:00 AM.

Required Documents for Registration

Candidates must present original copies of the following documents:

• JAMB result slip and admission letter
• O'Level certificates (WAEC/NECO)
• Birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age declaration
• Certificate of origin from local government
• Recent passport photographs

Warning Against Unauthorized Agents

FUTIA management cautions all applicants to avoid unauthorized agents and ensure all payments are made only through the official university portal. Note that admissions are released in batches, so candidates should continue checking their JAMB CAPS regularly.
