Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for postgraduate programmes at Rivers State University (RSU/RSUST), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university is admitting students into the following award types:

Application fees

• Standard postgraduate programmes: N60,000
• Sandwich programmes: N50,000

Payments are made online using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards.

Required documents (general)

• Completed printed copy of the online application form (keep proof of payment).
• Photocopies of academic certificates.
• Certified academic transcripts — previous institutions must forward transcripts directly to the Postgraduate School.
• Three (3) referee reports (one should be from a previous academic institution).
• PhD applicants: a concise research proposal on the intended area of study.

The deadline for submission of applications is Monday, 31st August 2026. Submit early to avoid last-minute issues.
