UNILORIN Hostel Allocation 2025/2026: Dates, Process, and Eligibility

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the commencement of hostel allocation for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise will be conducted online through the students' portal.

Allocation Schedule

• Returning Students: Friday, October 3, 2025
• Fresh Students: Tuesday, October 7, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the hostel allocation exercise, students must:

• Complete payment of all university charges
• Be a registered student of the university
• Have an active student portal account

Allocation Process

The allocation follows a ballot system where:

1. Eligible students access their institutional portal on their designated date
2. Available bed spaces are displayed on the portal
3. Students select from available options
4. Allocation is confirmed immediately upon selection

Important Rules

The university has emphasized the following:

• Bed spaces are NOT transferable
• Bed spaces are NOT for sale
• Students must adhere strictly to institutional guidelines
• Any violation will attract disciplinary action
