Checklist before registration opens

  1. Get your NIN: Make sure you have a National Identification Number (NIN) and correct any errors in your biodata at NIMC.
  2. Generate your profile code: Send your NIN by SMS to the official JAMB short code (55019 or 66019) using your personal phone number.
  3. Use a valid email and phone number: These will be needed for registration and all official updates.
  4. Decide your course: Choose a course you meet the requirements for and can commit to.
  5. Choose your institutions: Pick your preferred school and a realistic backup option.
  6. Confirm subject combinations: Use the JAMB IBASS portal to verify subject combinations and course requirements.
  7. Know where to get help: Speak to counselors or trusted advisors if you are unsure about course or institution choices.
  8. Understand the registration flow: Profile code → purchase e-PIN from approved channels → complete registration at an accredited CBT centre.
