As Fed Poly Bida marks her 14th Combined Convocation Ceremony, about 995 students of the Federal Polytechnic Bida will during the ceremony of the Federal Polytechnic Bida graduate with distinctions at National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma(HND) levels.
This was disclosed by the Rector of the institution, Dr Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi during a press briefing ahead of the convocation ceremony which comes up this weekend.
The Rector condemned the dichotomy that still exists between HND holders and their university counterpart describing it as unnecessary and not appropriate for a Nation’s economy. According to him, in developed economies, the HND graduates drive the economy.
