Ambrose Alli University Students Shut Down Police Station, Protest Over Harassment

A report has it that the students of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, protested at a Police Station against incessant harassment by men of the Nigerian Police Force.

This comes after the institution SUG President was allegedly slapped by a police officer for no reason. The students took to the streets protesting against the constant harassment and bullying shutting down a police station.

The school management has called for peace and calm, and advised the students to go about their normal academic activities as they work to resolve the issue.
