AAUA Radio Has Been Approved By NUC

Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Radio station has gotten operational license from the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to go on-air.

According to the VC, Prof Igbekele Ajibefun, who made the disclosure while addressing a press conference to herald the activities for the institution’s 6th convocation ceremony, the Radio station is called ‘Varsity Radio’ with the frequency 107.8fm.

The VC said the approval of the radio station will enhance the productivity and effectiveness of mass communication students in the institution.

He added that the institution will through the approved radio station train the future broadcasters that will rule the world and be successful in their professions.
