Abia State University (ABSU) has released its first batch admission list for undergraduate degree programmes in the 2025/2026 academic session. Successful candidates must complete acceptance procedures before the deadline to secure their admission.

How to Check Your Admission Status

Visit the ABSU admission portal at portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Applicant/Admission/CheckStatus to verify if your name appears on the admission list.

Steps for Admitted Candidates

Step 1: Print Offer of Admission

Log onto the ABSU portal and print your "Offer-of-Admission" document.

Step 2: Accept on JAMB CAPS

Access your JAMB CAPS account and print your JAMB admission letter.

Step 3: Collect Acceptance Slip

Report to the Admissions Office at Uturu campus to collect your "Acceptance-of-Offer" slip.

Step 4: Pay Required Fees

Pay all required fees at any of the designated banks:

• First Bank
• Zenith Bank
• UBA
• Fidelity Bank
• Union Bank
• Signature Bank
• Bank debit card payments

Critical Deadline

Friday, October 31, 2025 - Any offer of admission not accepted on or before this date becomes void.
