ABU NELFUND Refund: Students Who Paid Before Loan Disbursement to Receive Reimbursement

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has commenced reimbursement of institutional fees for students who paid before the NELFUND loan disbursement. The ABU Students' Representative Council (SRC) confirmed that refunds are being processed in phases.

Who Is Eligible for Refund

Students who:

• Already paid their institutional fees before the NELFUND loan was disbursed
• Were later covered by the NELFUND student loan scheme
• Essentially paid twice for the same fees

Refund Process

According to the SRC announcement:

• Refunds are being carried out in phases
• Payments will be credited directly to students' registered bank accounts
• Beneficiaries should monitor their accounts for incoming payments
