The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) is accepting applications for its Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing Sciences programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. Applications close on April 30, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must satisfy all of the following:

  1. Hold a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN/RM certificate
  2. Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a current practising licence
  3. Have a minimum of 5 O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (obtained in no more than 2 sittings)

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  2. Oral interview for successful CBT candidates
  3. Medical examination at ABUTH facilities

  2. Select the HND Nursing Sciences programme
  3. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the CBT registration fee of ₦2,000 via Remita
  4. Log in and complete your biodata, qualifications, and contact details
  5. Submit your application and accept the terms

Documents Required for Interview

  • Printed copy of completed application form
  • CBT fee payment receipt
  • Valid identification
  • Original credential certificates

Note: Failure to attend the CBT examination or interview disqualifies candidates from admission.
