Adedeji Scholarship Program 2027 for University of Ibadan Students

Applications are open for the 2027 Adedeji Scholarship Program, an undergraduate award for eligible University of Ibadan students who combine strong academic work with meaningful interests and activities beyond their main course of study.

What the Scholarship Covers

• Full tuition and accommodation fees for one academic session.
• Possible renewal for one additional academic session, subject to exceptional performance.
• Admission into the one-year ASP Scholars Fellowship.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must be current 100-300 level students at the University of Ibadan in Economics, Social Science or Arts. They should also show meaningful involvement in activities within or outside campus, such as entrepreneurship, creative work, public service, volunteering or other forms of community impact.

There is no compulsory minimum GPA. However, the organisers state that a stronger academic record can improve an application, and selections are reviewed holistically.

Required Documents and Information

• A clear image of your University of Ibadan student identity card.
• Your matriculation number, department, level, email address and active phone number.
• Your latest academic transcript, or original JAMB result slip if you are currently in 100 level.
• A personal essay of no more than 250 words based on the prompt shown on the application form.
• A one-page CV in PDF format.
• Supporting evidence of leadership, awards, projects or community impact, combined into one document.
