AFUED Governing Council Approves Four Key Administrative Appointments

The Governing Council of Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo has approved the appointment of four senior administrative officers to key positions within the institution. The appointments took effect from August 13, 2025.

New Appointees and Their Positions

1. University Bursar - Mrs. Taiwo Olufunmilayo Adedoyin

Mrs. Adedoyin brings extensive experience to the position, having joined AFUED in 1999 as Accountant II. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA, and has risen through the ranks to Deputy Bursar in 2015. She is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.

2. University Librarian - Dr. Azino Oscarand Akpokurerie

Dr. Akpokurerie comes with over 20 years of professional experience across Nigerian universities. He holds a doctorate in Library Science and has more than 84 publications to his credit. He previously served as College Librarian at AFUED.

3. Director of Physical Planning, Works and Services - Engineer Kehinde Folorunso Akintade

Engineer Akintade, 54, is a Civil Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He began his career at the institution in 1999 as Engineer II and has progressed to Chief Engineer and Deputy Director.

4. Director of Health Services - Dr. Ibukun-Ola Eddison Johnson

Dr. Johnson, 55, obtained his MBBS from the University of Benin in 1999 and a Master's in Public Health from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2022. He has served in the medical department at AFUED since 2007.

These appointments reflect the institution's commitment to strengthening its administrative capacity with experienced professionals who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields.
