This is to announce to all the fresh students and stale students of the Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) that the management of the university has released the revised academic calendar for the 2018/2019 academic session.

At its meeting held on Monday, 3rd December, 2018, Management reviewed the University Academic Calendar for the 2018/2019 session and approved an adjustment to the calendar as follows:

Saturday, 15th December, 2018	Christmas break for all student begins
Wednesday, 9th January, 2019	1st Semester Lectures continues
Friday, 18th January, 2019	1st Semester Lectures End, Revision start
Thursday, 24th January, 2019	Revision ends
Friday, 25th January, 2019	1st Semester Examinations begin
Friday, 8th February, 2019	1st Semester Examinations end
Saturday, 9th February, 2019	Semester Break begins
Saturday, 23rd February, 2019	Semester Break ends
Sunday, 24th February, 2019	Resumption for 2nd Semester
Monday, 25th February, 2019	2nd Semester Lectures begin

All Lecturers are implored to intensify their lectures so as to cover in full their syllabuses before the commencement of examinations.

Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) Shuts University Gates on Students That Are Yet to Resume From Xmas Break

The management of the Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) has directed that the gate of the University be closed to undergraduate students who have not resumed from the Christmas break.

Resumption date was on the 9th of January, 2019 but the University Student Affairs Unit cleared students for resumption up till Sunday 13th, January 2019. Further extension was allowed till Tuesday 15th January, 2019. Serious minded students will have resumed according to University instruction.

The gates are now shut to those still in their homes. They are advised not to come the University as they will not be allowed into the campus. They will forfeit the forthcoming examination. They may be welcomed back at the beginning of the next semester. Parents are strongly advised not to contact the University management on this issue.
