The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has opened registration for admission into its Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2026 academic session.
Registration Period
- Start Date: Monday, 9th February, 2026
- Closing Date: Friday, 20th March, 2026
- Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm daily (Monday to Friday)

Entry Requirements
Candidates must present two photocopies of the following documents:
- Professional Certificate: Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- O'Level Results: WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
- Testimonial: From the last professional school attended
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Change of Name document (where applicable)
- Certificate of Origin
- Passport Photographs: Two recent photos with red background
