AKSCONS Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing Admission 2026: Registration Open

The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has opened registration for admission into its Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2026 academic session.

Registration Period

• Start Date: Monday, 9th February, 2026
• Closing Date: Friday, 20th March, 2026
• Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm daily (Monday to Friday)
• Venue: AKSCONS premises, Ikot Ekpene

Entry Requirements

Candidates must present two photocopies of the following documents:

• Professional Certificate: Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• O'Level Results: WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
• Testimonial: From the last professional school attended
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• Change of Name document (where applicable)
• Certificate of Origin
• Passport Photographs: Two recent photos with red background

• Registration is conducted in-person at the college premises
• Public holidays are excluded from registration days
