AKSU Combined Convocation Ceremonies: Dates for 2018-2025 Graduands

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced dates for its combined convocation ceremonies, covering graduands from the 2018/2019 to 2024/2025 academic sessions. After years of postponements, the university is consolidating multiple ceremonies to celebrate graduating students.

Convocation Schedule

First Ceremony: 6th, 7th & 8th Combined Convocation

• Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
• Eligible Graduands: 2018/2019, 2019/2020, and 2020/2021 academic sessions

Second Ceremony: 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th Combined Convocation

• Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
• Eligible Graduands: 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 academic sessions

What Graduands Need to Do

All concerned graduands are advised to:

• Take note of the ceremony date that applies to their graduating session
• Make the necessary payments for convocation gown and other materials
• Ensure all outstanding fees and clearances are completed before the ceremony
