Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has received National Universities Commission (NUC) approval to launch a Full-Time Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree programme starting in the 2025/2026 academic session. The official authorization was issued on November 10, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet these criteria:
- AKSU must be selected as the First Choice Institution during UTME registration
- Minimum UTME score of 280 is required
- Candidates who did not initially select AKSU should apply for a "Change of Institution" through JAMB
Application Timeline
Online registration commenced on Monday, November 17, 2025. Only applicants who complete the online process will receive consideration for admission.
Required Documentation
Applicants must upload scanned copies in .jpg format (file size: 120KB–150KB) of:
- 2025 UTME Result Slip
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- AKSU PUTME Registration Confirmation Slip (2025)
Application Procedure
Candidates should:
- Visit https://www.aksu.edu.ng/app
- Click "START NOW" and select "Enrol"
- Choose "PUTME" and enter JAMB Registration Number
- Pay ₦2,000 registration fee (excluding bank charges)
- Upload required documents
- Complete verification and submit
