Akwa Ibom College of Nursing Sciences Admission Form for Basic Midwifery, September 2023

The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences has announced the sales of form for admission of eligible candidates into the College for Basic Midwifery Programme.

A. Registration: Commences from Monday 28th August-15th September, 2023 between the hours of 8:30am-3:00pm daily except public holidays and weekends.

B. Venue: Registration will only take place at the College of Nursing Sciences, Ikot Ekpene

C. Qualification: WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with credits in English Language. Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics NOT more than two sittings.

Note: NABTEB stands alone (It cannot be combined with any other Certificate).

D. Registration/Processing Fee

(1) Registration:

• (a) Indigene  –   N5,000
• (b) Non Indigene    –    N7,000

(ii) Processing fee:

• N8,000 for indigenes
• N9,000 for non indigenes

(iii) Nursing and Midwifery committee  –   N500.00

(iv) Customized file   N500

TOTAL:

• Indigenes    –     N14,000
• Non Indigenes     –    N17,000

E. Requirements for Registration

(1) Three recent colour passport photographs

(ii) Original and two photocopies of each of the following

• Educational certificates – FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• Certificate of Local Government of origin
• Change of name (if applicable)

(iii) Age (16 years and above)
