The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences has announced an upward review of school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. The fee increase merges examination costs with tuition to create a more streamlined payment structure.

Reason for Fee Increase

According to college management, the fee review consolidates:

• Regular school fees
• Examination fees (previously paid separately)

This merger aims to:

• Support production of customized examination answer booklets
• Ensure uniformity in examination materials
• Reduce use of foolscap sheets
• Help curb examination malpractice

New Fee Structure for 2025/2026

ND1 (New Intake)

• Indigenes: ₦220,750 total
  • First Semester: ₦140,000
  • Second Semester: ₦80,750
• Non-Indigenes: ₦250,750 total
  • First Semester: ₦150,000
  • Second Semester: ₦100,750

ND2 (Returning Students)

• Indigenes: ₦159,500 total
  • First Semester: ₦95,000
  • Second Semester: ₦64,500
• Non-Indigenes: ₦174,500 total
  • First Semester: ₦105,000
  • Second Semester: ₦69,500

Payment Options and Portal

Students can pay:

• Full Session Payment: Pay entire amount at once
• Semester Payment: Pay per semester

Payment Portal: A new fee payment portal is available

Payment Window: December 1-15, 2025

Late Registration Penalty

Students who register after the December 15 deadline will incur a ₦20,000 late registration penalty in addition to regular fees.
