Al-Qalam University Post-UTME 2025: Online Application Guide for UTME and Direct Entry

Al-Qalam University, Katsina has opened online applications for the 2025/2026 academic session. Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected the university as their first choice can now apply through the official portal.

Who Can Apply

Applications are open to candidates who:

• Sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), OR
• Applied through Direct Entry (DE)
• Designated Al-Qalam University as their first-choice institution on JAMB

O'Level Requirements (All Applicants)

Before applying, ensure you've uploaded your O'Level results to JAMB CAPS showing:

• Minimum credits: Five credit passes
• Compulsory subjects: English Language and Mathematics
• Sitting limit: Maximum of two sittings
• Upload location: JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS)

Additional Requirements for Direct Entry

Direct Entry candidates must also upload relevant A-level credentials to the Al-Qalam University portal, including:

• National Diploma (ND)
• National Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) certificate
• Other equivalent A-level qualifications

Step-by-Step Application Process

Follow these steps to complete your Al-Qalam University application:

2. Create an account: Register with your personal details
3. Generate invoice: The system will create an invoice for application and screening fees
4. Make payment: Pay the generated invoice amount
5. Login with RRR: Use your Remita Reference Number to access your account

8. Physical verification: If admitted, attend verification at the university campus

The portal will generate a combined invoice for both application and screening fees. Payment details will be provided after account creation.

Physical Verification Requirement

Successful applicants must attend physical verification at Al-Qalam University campus in Katsina. During verification, you'll need to present:
