Anchor University Post-UTME Screening: Schedule, Requirements, and What to Expect

Anchor University has released details for its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The screening will accommodate candidates from different regions through both physical and online options.

Screening Schedule

Physical Screening (Southwest Candidates)

• Date: Tuesday, August 26, 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM
• Venue: Anchor University Campus

Online Screening (Other States)

• Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM
• Mode: Online (coordinated from campus)

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the screening, candidates must:

• Have selected Anchor University as their first choice on the JAMB portal
• Scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME
• Possess five O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects (maximum two sittings)
• Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025

Note: Candidates under 16 years may consider applying for JUPEB or Diploma programmes instead.

Required Documents

Candidates must present original copies of:

• O'Level results (WAEC/NECO)
• JAMB result printout
• Completed university application form
• Birth certificate or sworn age declaration
• Result verification scratch cards

Screening Format

The screening consists of an oral interaction that includes document verification and questioning. Candidates awaiting O'Level results may skip the initial screening exercise and participate in subsequent sessions.

Prospective students should prepare adequately for the oral interaction by reviewing their chosen course of study and understanding their motivation for selecting Anchor University.
