The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi Directorate of Basic and Remedial Studies (DRBS) announces the sale of application forms into IJMB progammes for the 2024/2025 academic session which will commence from MONDAY 13 MAY, 2024 to FRIDAY 26th JULY, 2024.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, Basic (IJMB) programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The twelve (12) months UMB programme will prepare candidates to gain Admission into the University at 200 Level upon acquiring the minimum requirement and other universities as approved by the federal Government.

NOTE: Candidates MUST register for 2025 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) for Admission.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Candidates admitted for the Basic (IJMB) Programme are also expected to register for 2025 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) for Admission.
• Provision is available for candidates with deficiencies in English and Mathematics to register for Basic English and Mathematics ‘o’level equivalent run by IJMB, ABU Zaria.

Entry Requirements:

1. Applicants MUST have a minimum of (2) credits in any of the sciences, social sciences or commercial subjects.

2. Candidates MUST register for 2021 JAMB (UTME) l) Candidates MUST register and pass at credit level, the SSCE or NECO in the subjects they are deficient before being admitted in their selected courses.

How to Apply for ATBU IJMB / Remedial Admission Form

• Interested applicants should visit https://applicant.safapply.com/atbu
• Click on IJMB application to create an account using valid email address
• Upon successful account creation, use the email and password to login
• There are five (5) sections which you will be required to fill Each section has to be filled before proceeding to the next You can save your progress to finish the application at a later time before the application deadline
• Use a valid debit card or any other payment option available on the portal to make the payment of a non-refundable application fee of Five Thousand Naira Only (N5,000) NB: payment validates your application, failure of which will result in rejection of your application.
