ATBU Extends SIWES Acceptance Letter Submission Deadline to April 14

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has extended the deadline for students to submit their SIWES acceptance letters. The new deadline is Monday, 14th April 2026.

Why the Extension

The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) received complaints from students about delays in processing acceptance letters from their placement organisations. The extension gives students additional time to complete the process.

• Comply with your employer's rules and regulations
• Keep proper records in your logbook
• Submit the completed SCAF form by the 14th April deadline
• Remain at your duty post, as supervisors may visit without prior notice
