The Bauchi State Ministry of Education has announced the registration details for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and Basic Arabic and Islamic Certificate Examination (BAICE).
Registration Period
- Opens: March 25, 2026
- Closes: April 30, 2026
Registration Fees
- Public schools: ₦2,000 per candidate
- Private schools: ₦3,000 per candidate
The Ministry has warned that no child in a public school should be charged more than the approved ₦2,000 fee. School administrators who charge above the approved amount face sanctions.
How to Register
Principals of junior secondary schools across Bauchi State are responsible for registering eligible candidates through the official registration portal before the April 30 deadline.
