Benue State Extends 2026 BECE Registration Deadline to April 7

The Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to give more schools time to register their candidates.

New Deadlines

• PIN Purchase: March 23 – March 31, 2026
• Registration: March 23 – April 7, 2026

How to Register

Schools must visit the official BEQAEB portal at beqa.be.gov.ng to complete the registration process within the extended timeframe.

Why the Extension

According to BEQAEB Information Officer Jeffrey Adzam, the extension is intended to allow candidates who have not yet registered to complete their process and ensure no student is left behind. School administrators and stakeholders are urged to act immediately to avoid missing the final deadline.

What Students and Parents Should Do

• Confirm with your school that BECE registration has been completed
• If your school has not registered, urge the administration to do so before April 7, 2026
• Ensure all required documents and fees are submitted to the school on time
