Bayelsa Medical University (BMU), Yenagoa has opened its 2026/2027 admission screening process for UTME and Direct Entry candidates. Registration is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 6, 2026 and close on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Who Can Apply?
- UTME candidates who scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who are at least 16 years old.
- Candidates with at least five O'Level credits in SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
- Candidates willing to choose BMU on JAMB CAPS if the university is not already their first-choice institution.
Application Dates and Fee
- Registration opens: Monday, July 6, 2026
- Registration closes: Saturday, August 29, 2026
- Registration fee: N2,500
How to Apply
- Visit the Bayelsa Medical University website.
- Select your preferred programme and complete the initial registration.
- Activate your registration through the link sent to your email address.
- Log in again, complete the application form, upload the required documents and submit your details.
- Pay the registration fee of N2,500 through the application process.
- If BMU is not your current choice on JAMB CAPS, visit a JAMB office or accredited centre to change institution and upload your O'Level result.
