Borno State University Officially Renamed to Kashim Ibrahim University

Borno State University has officially been renamed to Kashim Ibrahim University following the signing of a bill by the Executive Governor of Borno State.

According to the official announcement, the Executive Governor of Borno State and Visitor of the University signed the Bill renaming Borno State University to Kashim Ibrahim University with effect from 4th August 2025.
