Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates (100 Level Entry)
- Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits in relevant subjects including English (maximum two sittings)
- JAMB UTME registration (candidates who chose BUK given priority)
- Minimum age: 25 years
Direct Entry Candidates (200 Level Entry)
- National Diploma (ND), NCE, IJMB (minimum 6 points), or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits in relevant subjects including English
- Minimum age: 25 years
Specific Programme Requirements
- Nursing, Health Education: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- Accounting, Business Admin, Mathematics, Economics: Credit in Mathematics
- Arabic, Islamic Studies: NBAIS certificate holders eligible
- Public Administration: Credit in Government or History
How to Apply for BUK Part-Time Admission
Step 1: JAMB Registration
- Visit JAMB Online Application Platform for Part-Time Degree Programme
- Select Bayero University Kano (BUK)
- Complete the form and pay N3,500 non-refundable fee
Step 2: BUK Portal Application
- Visit www.buk.edu.ng
- Click on PART-TIME APPLICATION FORM on the homepage
- Create an account with username and password
- Fill in all required sections on the application portal
- Generate and print your personalized invoice
- Pay N5,000 non-refundable processing fee at any bank
- Enter your JAMB Application Number
- Review all information for accuracy
- Generate and print acknowledgement slip (keep safe for admission letter collection and registration)
