BUK Online Screening for 2026/2027 Admission
Bayero University Kano has announced online screening for candidates seeking admission through the 2026/2027 UTME and Direct Entry admission process.
Screening Dates
The online screening exercise runs from Friday, June 19, 2026 to Sunday, August 16, 2026. Candidates who miss the registration window may not be considered for admission.
Who Can Register
- UTME candidates must have chosen Bayero University Kano as first choice.
- Candidates must meet the minimum score required for their faculty or programme.
- Direct Entry candidates for the 2026/2027 admission cycle should also complete the online screening where applicable.
How to Apply
- Visit the verified BUK online screening portal.
- Log in with your UTME registration number as username and your UTME aggregate score as password.
- Update your profile carefully. The JAMB-uploaded photograph will serve as the valid ID photograph for admitted candidates.
- Generate and download your BUK Personalised Payment Invoice.
- Pay the N2,000 screening fee through the generated Remita Retrieval Reference.
- After payment, print your acknowledgement slip from the portal.
O-Level Upload Requirement
Candidates should upload their O-Level result on JAMB CAPS at a JAMB office or accredited CBT centre. BUK says only candidates with uploaded results can be proposed and recommended to JAMB for approval.
Important Notes
- Supplying false information can lead to disqualification.
- Candidates may supply a maximum of two O-Level sittings.
- Blind and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test but must still complete online registration.
- Use the email contact provided on the BUK portal if you encounter registration issues.
