Bayero University Kano (BUK) School of Postgraduate Studies has released detailed procedures for the screening exercise for successful PG applicants for the 2024/2025 academic session. Follow these 7 steps carefully to complete your registration.

7-Step Online Screening Process

Step 1: Portal Login

Log into the BUK postgraduate portal using your Application ID and password.

Step 2: Accept Admission Letter

Review and accept your admission letter on the portal.

Step 3: Pay Acceptance Fee

Pay the acceptance fee of ₦15,000 through the portal payment system.

Step 4: Download Documents

Download your:

• PG admission letter
• Fee schedule for your program

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

Upload the following documents in JPG format (maximum 1MB each):

• Birth certificate
• SSCE results (O'Level)
• HND or degree results

Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Slip

Print your acknowledgement slip containing your registration number.

Step 7: Physical Registration

Proceed to the School of Postgraduate Studies for physical registration with:

• S.I.F. (Student Information Form)
• Payment receipt
• C.R.F. (Course Registration Form)
• Acknowledgement slip
• Photocopies of all credentials
• Original credentials for verification
• Two passport photographs
