This is to inform the Staff and Students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) that the Management of the University has banned students from holding Matriculation Party during the week of the 2019 Matriculation ceremony holding on Thursday, 28th March, 2019.
The implication of the ban is that students are free to have refreshments after the matriculation, but there should be no form of party, music and other forms of entertainment.
The above decision which is in the interest of peace and for maintenance of a conducive academic environment in the University must be adhered to. The University Administration will not take the violation of this order lightly.
While we congratulate all Fresh Students on their admission into the University and wishing them happy and hitch-free Matriculation Ceremonies, kindly bring this information to all persons concerned.
