COOU SUG Election 2026: Timetable and Screening Result

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has adjusted the timetable for the 2026 Students' Union Government (SUG) election and published the screening result for qualified aspirants.

Updated SUG election timetable

• Presentation to management: Monday, May 25, 2026, at the Student Affairs Office.
• Campaign period: Monday, May 25 to Sunday, May 31, 2026.
• Manifesto session: Friday, May 29, 2026, 12:00 noon, at Nwazojie Hall, Igbariam Campus.
• Election day: Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Screening result

The university said the screening exercise for SUG aspirants has been concluded and qualified candidates have been published.

Aspirants and students should follow the revised dates, attend required activities on time, and keep the campaign period peaceful and issue-based.
