Following to the promise made by the Federal Government to pay the sum of N33,000 as the new allowance of Corp Members, the federal government has fulfilled its promise as members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have now been receiving the alert of the new allowance in their various bank accounts.
The comes after the federal government and the Nigeria labour union met in 2019 and devised ways to increase the minimum wage from N18,000 to N30,000.
At first, a lot of people doubted the possibility of its implementation arguing that the government was fond of making promises without fulfillment. A lot corps member have however shared a screenshot of a bank credit alert alleged to be the upgraded NYSC allowance. See a screenshot below.
