About Uyo City Polytechnic
Uyo City Polytechnic is located at Ikpa Rd, Uyo, Nigeria, Akwa ibom. Uyo City Polytechnic is a privately owned tertiary institution located at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. It currently has three faculties which are: School of Engineering, School of Sciences and School of Management Sciences.
The polytechnic is a skillful and innovative institution, committed to enhancing quality manpower development and acquisition of skills for the youth for the purpose of being self-reliant.
Uyo City Polytechnic was founded in the year 2013 (2012/2013 session) and has received its recognition from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). Uyo City Polytechnic vision is to raise the standard of education and also to provide quality education that will build both character and competence into the human personality of each of our students beyond compared at the global level.
Uyo City Polytechnic is located at Uyo which is in the South-South region of the country. This region experiences two seasons which are the rainy and dry season. The rainy season come heavily from the month of May, June, July. While the dry season usually comes between the month of October up until April.
