DELSU Christmas Break: December 22, 2025 to January 2, 2026

Delta State University (DELSU) has announced its Christmas and New Year break schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor approved the closure to allow staff and students to observe the festive period.

Break Schedule

• Break Commencement: Monday, December 22, 2025
• Break Conclusion: Friday, January 2, 2026
• Academic Resumption: Monday, January 5, 2026

Essential Services

Essential university services will continue operating during the break period to ensure critical operations and campus security are maintained.

Resumption Notice

Normal academic and administrative activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. Students and staff should plan to return to campus by this date to avoid missing any scheduled activities.

Planning Your Holiday

Students are advised to:

• Complete all outstanding academic obligations before leaving campus
• Make travel arrangements for departure by December 22
• Plan return travel to arrive by January 5, 2026
• Use the break period for rest and academic preparation
