DELSU Reschedules Examinations Scheduled for Good Friday, April 3

Delta State University (DELSU) has announced the rescheduling of all examinations originally set for Friday, 3rd April 2026, as the date falls on Good Friday.

What Changed

• Affected exams: All examinations across every faculty originally scheduled for Friday, 3rd April 2026
• New arrangement: Affected exams will be held within one to two days following the final examinations in each department's schedule
• Reason: 3rd April 2026 is Good Friday, a public holiday

Faculties Affected

The rescheduling applies to all faculties at DELSU including Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Arts, Basic Clinical Science, Basic Medical Science, Clinical Medicine, Communication & Media Studies, Computing, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Management Science, Pharmacy, Social Sciences, and Science.

What Students Should Do

• Check with your faculty or department for the updated examination timetable
• Deans of Faculties have been directed to communicate revised schedules to all students
• Updated timetables will be submitted to the Directorate of Examinations and Special Duties

DELSU students with exams originally scheduled for 3rd April should contact their department immediately to confirm the new date for their papers.
