Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo has opened its 2026/2027 dual-mode admission screening for candidates interested in the five-year pathway that begins with NCE training and progresses to the degree stage after the required conditions are met.

The official FCES Oyo dual-mode admission portal states that the screening exercise will hold on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Candidates should complete the online application before the stated submission deadline of Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Programme Available

The available programme is the five-year dual-mode degree programme, made up of three years of NCE study followed by two years at the degree stage.

Who Can Apply

  • Candidates who chose Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo as first choice in the 2026 UTME.
  • Candidates who did not initially choose the college but are willing to change to FCES Oyo as first choice.
  • Candidates who did not sit for the 2026 UTME, where the programme rules allow them to apply.
  • Candidates with at least four O'Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS.
  • Candidates who will be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

Application Fees and Portal

Applicants should use the official FCES Oyo dual-mode admission portal. The portal lists a non-refundable online registration fee of N2,000. It also lists a N700 processing fee, a N3,500 JAMB registration fee for candidates who did not sit for the 2026 UTME, and O'Level verification fees where applicable.

Documents Needed for Screening

  • Two copies of the UTME e-notification of result slip, where applicable.
  • The original and a photocopy of the completed online admission screening application form.
  • SSCE, GCE O'Level, NABTEB or NBAIS results for the relevant course area.
  • Change-of-institution printout for candidates who did not initially choose FCES Oyo as first choice.
  • Scanned O'Level results uploaded to the JAMB profile at an accredited CBT centre.

Screening Time and Venue

The screening is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. prompt. The venue will be indicated on each candidate's completed online admission screening application form.
