FCT resumption date and academic calendar for the 2020/2021 session has been announced and released respectively. See details below
This is to inform the public of the resumption date and revised calendar for federal capital territory schools. The state government has given a go-ahead in the reopening of schools. Basic and senior schools in the state are to resume on 12th Oct. 2020.
This was disclosed in a memo released by the education secretary federal capital territory Abuja. The memo reads “please I am directed to forward the proposed resumption date for 2020/2021 school calendar for Basic and senior schools in FCT.

11/10/2020 – 18/12/2020 ——– 1st term (10wks)
19/12/2020 – 03/01/2021 —— 1st term holiday (2wks)
03/01/2021 – 31/03/2021 ——— 2nd term (13wks)
04/04/2021 – 24/04/2021 ——- 2nd term holiday (3wks)
25/04/2021 – 24/07/2021 —— 3rd term (14wks)
25/07/2021 – 04/09/2021 —— 3rd term holiday (6wks)
