Fed Poly Idah: Graduates Should Collect IT Completion Certificates
Federal Polytechnic Idah has issued a notice to ND and HND graduates who completed their Industrial Training (IT) program. If you haven't collected your IT completion certificate, do so immediately to avoid penalties.
Who Should Collect
This notice applies to all Federal Polytechnic Idah graduates (ND and HND) who have satisfactorily completed their Industrial Training program but haven't collected their IT completion certificates.
Collection Process
Step 1: Pay Collection Fee
Pay ₦2,000 into FPI Ventures' Zenith Bank account using a bank teller. Get a signed bank printout from Zenith Bank.
Step 2: Get Polytechnic Receipt
Present your signed bank printout to the Bursary Department to collect your polytechnic receipt.
Step 3: Gather Required Documents
You need:
- Polytechnic receipt (from Step 2)
- Certificate issued from the place you did your IT
Step 4: Submit Application
Submit your application to the Directorate of Industrial Training and Development with both documents attached.
Why This Certificate Matters
The IT completion certificate is an essential document for:
- NYSC mobilization (mandatory for service)
- Final certificate collection
- Job applications requiring proof of IT completion
- Postgraduate admissions
- Professional certification programs
Warning About Penalties
Federal Polytechnic Idah management warns that penalties will be imposed on graduates who delay collecting their IT completion certificates. Don't risk additional fees or complications by procrastinating.
If you completed your IT program, start the collection process immediately. The ₦2,000 fee is a small price compared to potential penalties or the inconvenience of not having this document when you need it urgently.
