What the official notice says

The announcement was issued on behalf of the Federal Government by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The ministry encouraged Nigerians to reflect on compassion, humility, service, peace and national unity during the observance.

The notice was signed by Dr Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior.
