According to the school’s management and authorities, the process of registering candidates for 2023/2024 Post UTME Screening Exercise registration has commenced in the Federal University Birnin-Kebbi (FUBK). The details of the registration, cut off mark have been released likewise.
FUBK Post UTME Form and Screening Details
FUBK Post-UTME form, registration details, cut-off mark, application cost, screening date and other relevant information for the 2023/2024 academic session have been announced. The minimum required cut-off mark is 140. The details are as follows:
FUBK Post UTME Screening Invitation
This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Federal University Birnin Kebbi as their first choice that the Online Registration for Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission Screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 Academic Session begins from Monday 4th September, 2023. Candidates are hereby advised to register at https://eforms.fubk.edu.ng at the cost of Two Thousand (N2,000) Naira only. The physical screening takes place as follows:

FUBK Admission Screening Eligibility Criteria
ELIGIBILITY FOR UTME
Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice and have scored 140 points and above are eligible to attend the exercise.
ELIGIBILITY FOR DIRECT ENTRY
Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice and have minimum qualification of Lower Credit at National Diploma from recognized institutions or 7 points at NCE/IJMB or equivalent qualifications are eligible to attend the exercise.
NOTE: All candidates are to come along with the following:
i) Original of UTME/DE result slip and photocopy of same.
ii) Original and photocopies of credentials (where available).
iii) Evidence of payment of N2,000 for the screening.
iv) Post UTME registration slip.

PREAMBLE
The Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), had conceived the idea that each of the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory ought to have a Federal University. In line with that, twelve new Federal Universities were to be established in those states that did not have Federal Universities. On 16th February, 2011 nine new Federal Universities were established.
The establishment of the remaining three Universities was, however, deferred until 18th February, 2013 when Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) announced the establishment of Federal University, Birnin Kebbi alongside those of Gusau and Gashua. Professor Lawal Sulaimaan Bilbis, a Professor of Biochemistry and former Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic at the Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto was appointed as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of the University while Ibrahim Abubakar Mungadi was appointed as the Registrar.
LOCATION
The Federal University Birnin Kebbi is located in Birnin Kebbi, the capital city of Kebbi State in the North-West Geo-Political Zone of Nigeria. The permanent site of the University is located 12 kilometers South-West of Birnin Kebbi and precisely 4KM along Kalgo – Bunza Road. The University’s take-off site, on the other hand, is located along Birnin Kebbi – Jega Road about 8 kilo meters South-West of Birnin Kebbi.
COMMENCEMENT OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
The National Universities Commission has approved the commencement of Academic Activities in the University with effect from the 2014/2015 Academic Session. Two take-off Faculties are currently in operation. These are Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences and Faculty of Science.
PROPRIETOR
As the name denotes, the Federal Government of Nigeria is the sole proprietor of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi, while his Excellency, the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is the Visitor to the University.
LOGO
The striking features in the logo of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi are the open book and a pen closed in an incomplete bell-like dome with the name, location and date of establishment of the University inscribed around it. The motto of the University is inscribed at the bottom of the logo. The open book and pen denote knowledge and scholarship, which are the primary objectives of the University. The incomplete bell-like dome represents the traditional symbol of Northern Nigeria, the location of the University.
MOTTO
The Motto of Federal University Birnin Kebbi is ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’. The Federal University Birnin Kebbi shall make excellence its guiding principles and the pursuit of same manifest in all its activities.
COLORS
The colors of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi are blue, green and white. The blue color represents the abundant water resources in the environment typified by River Rima along which Birnin Kebbi is located. The green color depicts Agriculture which is the main occupation of the local people; and the white color in which the pen and the book are inscribed denotes the peaceful nature of the environment in which the University is sited.
