Federal University Dutse SUG Registration Support for New Students 2025/2026

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University, Dutse (FUD) has established a Registration Task Force Committee to assist newly admitted students during the 2025/2026 registration and screening exercise. This initiative provides free support and guidance while warning students against registration scams.

Free Registration Support Available

The SUG has set up a centralized support point on campus where new students can receive:

• Step-by-step registration guidance
• Answers to questions about the registration process
• Help navigating the FUD student portal
• Temporary accommodation arrangements for students without immediate housing

Important: All services provided by the SUG Registration Task Force are completely free. According to SUG President Comrade Isah Ibrahim, the union is committed to ensuring a smooth and safe registration process for all new students.

Critical Warning: Avoid Registration Scams

The SUG has issued an urgent warning: "Do not pay anyone claiming to provide registration assistance."

Students should be aware that:

• Legitimate SUG registration assistance is always free
• No authorized person will demand payment for registration help
• Anyone requesting money for registration support is likely a scammer
• Official registration fees are paid only through the university's official channels

Required Documents for Registration

When coming for registration, new students must bring:

JAMB Documents

• JAMB admission letter
• JAMB result slip (1st and 2nd choice)

Academic Credentials

• WAEC and/or NECO certificates
• Primary School Certificate and Testimonial
• Secondary School Certificate and Testimonial

Personal Documents

• Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
• Certificate of indigene (from local government)
• Attestation letter from community head, father, or guardian
• Medical Report from NHIS-certified clinic/hospital
• 16 passport photographs

Admission Documents

• FUD admission letter (obtained from faculty after paying acceptance fee)
• Invoice and receipt of acceptance fee payment
• Invoice and receipt of central registration payment

Registration Process

Follow these steps to complete your registration:

1. Pay your acceptance fee
2. Collect admission letter from your faculty
3. Pay central registration fee at FUD Microfinance Bank, any café, or SUG Office
4. Log into myportal.fud.edu.ng to verify payment
5. Get your matriculation number from the portal
6. Print medical certificate and visit University Health Centre for verification
7. Print Course Registration Form (CRF) and sign where appropriate
8. Make 4 photocopies of all credentials
9. Submit documents: one set to Faculty, one to Department, one to Examinations & Records Unit, one for personal files
10. Collect bio-data forms from your department and submit copies as instructed
