FUDutse Benevolent Scholarship for Indigent Students: Application Now Open

Federal University Dutse (FUD) has opened applications for its 2025/2026 Students' Benevolent Scholarship Scheme. The initiative, announced by the Vice Chancellor's office on February 16, 2026, is designed to support indigent students who are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford their registration fees.

Who Can Apply?

This scholarship is specifically for FUD students facing genuine financial difficulties. To be eligible, you must:

• Be a registered student of Federal University Dutse
• Be experiencing financial hardship that prevents you from paying registration fees
• Not have already paid your registration fees for the current session
• Not have verified or disbursed NELFUND (Nigerian Education Loan Fund) status

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

• Completed application form (obtain from the Students' Affairs Division)
• Stamped previous semester result

Application Deadline

Monday, February 23, 2026

Applications must be submitted to the Students' Affairs Division before the deadline. Late applications may not be considered.

Selection Process

All applications will be screened by the university's Benevolent Committee. Successful applicants will be selected based on demonstrated financial need and eligibility criteria.
