This is to inform staff, matriculating students and the entire University community that the Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Monday 6th February, 2024
Venue: Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall
Time: 10:00 am
All fresh students are therefore directed to strictly comply with the following Matriculation requirement.
i. Completion of all Registration and Documentation: Every fresh student must ensure that he/she is fully registered and documented at his/her Department and the Admission Office latest by Friday 2nd February, 2024.
ii. Payment of N1, 000.00 for the Hiring of Academic Gown and Issuance of Oath form: All Matriculating Students must pay the sum N1.000.00 through Remita and verify the payment at the Cash Office of the Bursary Department being the cost for hiring of an Academic Gown. A receipt of payment must be presented to the respective Faculty Officers before a Gown and Matriculation Oath Form are issued. Payments and collections of gowns together with the Oath forms would go concurrently from Thursday, 1 February, 2024.
iii. Returning of Hired Academic Gowns and the Matriculation Oath Forms: Each Matriculating student must ensure that he/she returns the Academic Gown and the filled Matriculation Oath Form to the Faculty Officer latest by Monday, 12th February, 2024. It should be noted that failure to return the Academic Gown on the stipulated date attracts extra charges of N200.00 each day.
