FULOKOJA Expels 13 Final Year Students, Including 1 With First Class CGPA

Federal University, Lokoja (FULokoja) has just recently expelled 13 final year students, including one with a first class GPA. This is as a result of an alleged leakage of question papers that rocked the institution during the second semester examination in November last year.

The FULokoja students were all in the Economics Department, and were said to have been involved in purchasing the examination paper from a driver who worked in the department.

Accoding to the reports, one of the students was said to be on the verge of bagging a first class with a cumulative grade point of 5.0. The incident and the school’s verdict were disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Angela Freeman-Miri, while he was speaking with newsmen on Monday in Lokoja.

Prof. Angela stated the students were caught and apprehended when one of the question papers was extended to others who promptly informed the authorities. She also stated their expulsion followed the laid down process, mentioning as well that the students was given an opportunity to defend himself against the allegations before they took the final decision.
