Documents and items to prepare before you visit JAMB

• Original JAMB admission letter (printout) and a photocopy.
• Valid form of identification (national ID, state ID, or student ID).
• Completed Change of Programme form (obtainable at the JAMB office or filled on-site if provided).
• Recent passport photograph(s) as required by JAMB.
• Proof of any payment required by JAMB for the change (keep receipts).
• Printed acknowledgement or receipt from JAMB after submission.

After the university submits documents to JAMB, check your admission/processing status regularly. Use JAMB's student portal for status checks: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

Keep scanned copies of all documents and electronic receipts so you can present them if there is any delay.

If you missed the deadline

The university set a deadline for submission; if you were unable to meet it, act immediately:

• Go to the Admissions Division at the Senate Building (Felele Campus) and explain your situation. Ask if an extension or special handling is possible.
• Proceed to the JAMB office to complete the Change of Programme application regardless of the deadline status — prompt submission and proof of effort may improve your chances of correction.
• Keep written acknowledgements from both the university and JAMB for your records.

Practical tips for a smooth correction

• Start the process early — administrative corrections can take time to reflect on official systems.
• Keep physical and digital copies of every form, receipt and acknowledgement.
• Obtain a stamped receipt or official acknowledgement from the Admissions Division when you submit the hard copy.
