FUMMSA Admission Eligibility 2026/2027: UTME Score and O'Level Rules

Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA) has released eligibility rules for candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates should use the FUMMSA official admission eligibility notice for current institutional updates.

Who Can Apply

• Applicants must have scored 200 and above in the 2026 UTME.
• Applicants must have selected FUMMSA as their first-choice institution.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.
• Applicants must have five relevant O'Level credits in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics and Physics.
• Applicants for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Dental Surgery, Optometry and Physiotherapy must have all five required credits at one sitting.
• Applicants for other programmes may use O'Level results from a maximum of two sittings.
• Only WAEC and NECO results are accepted for this admission cycle.

Screening and Fees

• The Post-UTME registration start date has not yet been announced.
• The Post-UTME screening application fee is N2,000.
• The portal access fee is N4,000.
• Payments are to be made through Remita on the FUMMSA admission portal during the application process.

How Screening Scores Will Be Calculated

FUMMSA says the maximum Post-UTME screening score is 100 points. The aggregate will combine 50% of the candidate's UTME score and 50% of the candidate's O'Level result score.
