FUNAAB notice to all matriculating students, 2025/2026 session

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced that all matriculating students for the 2025/2026 academic session must participate in the matriculation ceremony and the university’s 13th commencement lecture.

Event Details

• Venue: Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building
• Date: Wednesday, 19th November, 2025
• Time: 10:00 a.m.
• Required Arrival Time: Not later than 9:30 a.m.

Dress Code

Students are required to wear academic gowns and caps during the ceremony. These regalia items can be obtained from their respective colleges beginning on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Important Requirements

• Present photocopies of school fee payment receipts at your college office before collecting academic attire
• Complete the matriculation oath online (mandatory - without signing this oath, students will not be officially recognized as university members)
• All venue entrances will be sealed once the Vice-Chancellor’s procession begins

Gown Return Deadline

• Return Deadline: Monday, 24th November, 2025 by 12 noon
• Late Return Penalty: ₦20,000
• Replacement Fee (Lost Items): ₦30,000
