ABOUT FUTO

Established in 1980. Starting with an initial enrollment of 225 undergraduate students and a staff strength of 60 (comprising 28 Academic and 32 Administrative staff) in 1981. The University’s enrollment for the 2010/2011 session has grown to 21,039 students (comprising 17,713 Undergraduates and 3,326 Postgraduate students) and an Academic Staff strength of 926 (including 156 Professors), plus over 1,200 Administrative and Technical support Staff.

FUTO Centre For Continuing Education Applications For 2014/2015 Academic Session

The Centre For Continuing Education, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for consideration for admission into weekend programmes leading to the award of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in the following Departments for the 2014/2015 academic session:

SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Candidates wishing to purchase the form must:

(i) Possess at least five O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.

(ii) Have scored a minimum of 180 in 2013/2014 UTME

PROGRAM DURATION

Minimum duration of program is seven (7) years

AGE LIMIT

Minimum age limit is sixteen (16) years 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates should pay a non-refundable fee of ten thousand Naira only (N10,000) at any branch of First Bank in the country, using the e-Transact platform and proceed with the online application as follows:

1.     Visit “cceapply.futo.edu.ng”

2.     Click “Apply” link

3.     Enter E-Tranzact Confirmation Number and Receipt Number

4.     Click “Start” button

5.     Complete the Application form as appropriate

6.     Print the completed Application form before submitting

7.     Click “Submit”

DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT

Candidates should forward the following relevant documents in support of their application to the Deputy Registrar/Coordinator, Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.

i. Two photocopies of printed online Application form

ii. Two photocopies of O’Level results

iii. Two photocopies of UTME results

iv. Two photocopies of Birth Certificate
