Gateway Polytechnic Saapade has scheduled its Higher National Diploma (HND) screening exercise for late August 2025, inviting successful applicants to attend on their assigned dates.

Screening Schedule

• Dates: Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28, 2025
• Time: 7:00 AM sharp
• Venue: Onafowokan Auditorium, Gateway Polytechnic Saapade

Important Guidelines

• Only invited candidates will be attended to on their assigned screening dates
• An oral interview follows the initial screening exercise
• Late arrivals may not be accommodated—arrive early
• Candidates must bring all required documents (originals and photocopies)

Required Documents

All candidates must present the following documents:

1. ND Notification of Result: Your National Diploma final result notification
2. Industrial Training (IT) Completion Letter:
   • One year IT for candidates with CGPA 2.5 and above
   • Two years IT for pass-grade applicants
3. JAMB Admission Letter: Your original ND admission letter from JAMB
4. Complete O'Level Results: Full WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results (not statement of results)
5. Supporting Documents: Birth certificate, local government identification, or other credentials as may be required

CGPA Requirements Reminder

Candidates should note that HND admission typically requires:

• Minimum CGPA of 2.50 for direct admission
• Lower Second Class (2.25-2.49) may require additional IT experience
• Pass grade (2.00-2.24) requires two years IT and may have limited course options

Preparation Tips

• Organize all documents in a clear folder the night before
• Make multiple photocopies of each document (at least 3 copies each)
• Wear formal or semi-formal attire for the oral interview
• Prepare to answer questions about your ND project, IT experience, and career goals
• Arrive by 6:30 AM to allow time for registration and verification
